Our Second Flip 

Our second flip was our first house as "career flippers," so to speak. This house was supposed to go to auction, but we swooped in with a pre-auction offer and were shocked when the bank accepted it. I'll never forget it -- we were in Las Vegas when we got the call that they actually accepted the offer. Awesome news.

I wish smell would come across on the Internet. Seriously, it would make for such dramatic "after" shots because you would know what we were really dealing with on each house. This time around we had a converted garage that smelled like smoke and old everything and no windows. Gross. We turned it back into a garage. We also removed a scary free-standing stove in the living room and opened up the kitchen by creating a cutout in the wall. It also got a new roof, siding, and of course total redo throughout.

This house was great -- and we finished it within 6 weeks, then sold it pretty quickly after it was on the market. All-in-all, a great flip.

*This home had two other really scary bedrooms that we tackled, however a recent hard drive meltdown means we no longer have "after" shots of those two rooms. Imagine them as fantastic!
